There are coffees that you drink — and then there are coffees you remember.
This Honey Pink Bourbon from Edward Montiel is a coffee of extreme clarity and elegance. The meticulous honey process imbues the beans with a vibrant energy, resulting in a cup that is bright, juicy, and wonderfully high-toned.
The name "Honey Process" has nothing to do with bees or actual honey—it refers to the sticky, golden layer of mucilage that remains clinging to the coffee bean (the parchment) after the cherry skin is removed. This layer is often compared to honey in appearance and texture.

Story
For Edward Montiel, this coffee is a powerful homecoming. After years spent away, he returned to the dramatic, volcanic earth of his birth town, Cajamarca, Colombia. High on the slopes of Volcán Machín, he realised his life’s mission was to capture the purity and complexity of this unique terroir in every single bean.
His exquisite Pink Bourbon variety is the culmination of that passion, representing the true taste of his mountain legacy.
Grown high in the volcanic slopes of Cajamarca, Colombia, between 1,800 and 2,000 meters above sea level, this microlot reflects the care and curiosity of the Montiel family at Granja Kaffeto.
The air is thin, the soil is rich, and every cherry is handpicked at its ripest moment before undergoing the depulping process. This process retains the mucilage on the bean, enhancing its funky, fruit-forward personality.
In this cup, tradition meets innovation, and nature meets passion. The result is a coffee that feels alive—intense, aromatic, and unforgettable—a true expression of Colombia’s volcanic heart.
